We created digital pictures about the WWII Japanese battleship "YAMATO" (in her very last configuration TEN-ICHIGO) for the book "Les CUIRASSÉS de la Classe YAMATO" produced and published by Lela Presse. YAMATO has been the heaviest battleships ever constructed, displacing 72,800 tonnes at full load and armed with nine 46 cm (18.1 inch) 45 Caliber Type 94 main guns, which were the largest guns ever mounted on a warship.
We made a very high detailed model of the battleship based on the original drawings. We also referred to historical photos to accurately reproduce the 3D model.
