We produced a documentary about the sinking of the battleship "Roma". Some men were the protagonists in the days of the Armistice, on September 1943. Among these one of the most influential and patriotic was Admiral Carlo Bergamini, who, at that time, was the Commander in Chief of the Italian Naval Battle Forces. This documentary tells in an objective manner, exclusively on the basis of official documents of the Italian Navy, about the decisions taken by Admiral Bergamini in those days. The master Pier Paolo Bergamini, son of the Admiral, told the events that led to the tragic end of the battleship "ROMA" and to the death of most of the crew, including his father.
